Floral Brown Skirt

A satin maxi skirt in a deep chocolate brown, with a floral jacquard woven through it — tonal rather than printed, so the pattern only really shows as the light moves across it.

The line is straight through the hip and thigh before easing gently towards the hem, and a split at the back keeps it easy to walk in. It fastens with a side zip so the front stays clean and uninterrupted, and the back of the waistband is elasticated, which means it settles to your shape without pulling. The satin has a soft, low sheen rather than a bright one, so the brown reads rich instead of shiny.

An easy one to dress either way — with a plain white tank in warm weather, or under a light shirt when it cools :)
